Ike Igwe-Onu is an experienced corporate leader, business consultant, youth advocate, and political strategist. A transplant of Jacksonville, Florida, Ike ventured into the Midwest following his graduation from the University of North Florida with a degree in Political Science in 2013. With over a decade of professional experience, Ike's career trajectory has been marked by positions of leadership at various Fortune 500 companies.

During his undergraduate years, Ike exhibited remarkable leadership skills by conceiving and executing unique initiatives that engaged his peers, including but not limited to the establishment of a radio station aimed at serving the needs of minority students on campus. His commitment to his alma mater continues to leave a lasting impact today, through his service in providing one-on-one mentorship to current students & recent graduates, and his vision as the founder for the UNF Black Alumni Association. Under his leadership, the organization curated new opportunities to recognize the achievements of Black graduates, developed innovative programming that engages hundreds of minority alumni annually, and galvanized financial support to current undergraduate students in the form of various scholarships.

Driven by his passion for making a difference in the lives of at-promise youth in his new home, Ike came to New B.O.Y. in May 2015 as a volunteer. Over the years, his dedication deepened, eventually leading him to become a board member. As the son of Nigerian immigrants, Ike witnessed firsthand the importance of hard work and perseverance, values he is determined to impart to the next generation of leaders. His dedication to youth empowerment can be traced back to his volunteering experiences in Jacksonville, where he actively supported organizations like the Police Athletic League and the MaliVai Washington Kids Foundation. Ike's unwavering commitment to creating a brighter future for those around him is further exemplified by lending his campaign management expertise to various local, gubernatorial and presidential campaigns.

Ike is an esteemed member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., where he has served in various capacities ranging from Advisor to District Director, Graduate Advisor to College Students and District Treasurer. When not working or volunteering Ike, enjoys recreational basketball and cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars with his niece and nephews.
